Mitosis is the step that is in the middle of the cell cycle. You can remember this because of the 'M' in Mitosis and the 'M' in Middle. Mitosis is also the 'Make' in "I Make Candy." Mitosis is defiantly the most complex step of the cell cycle, but it is broken down into 4 smaller, easier steps so that it is easier for you to grasp the information. You can remember the 3 steps because of the phrase PMAT. In a short summary of Mitosis, there are 1 nuclei envelope that breaks down, 2 nuclei that form, and several strands of DNA that are split for the 2 seperate daughter cells.
